RE: Is it possible for refrigerant within a receiver to be subcooled?

Can refrigerant in a receiver be subcooled? If liquid and vapor is present in the receiver at the same time isn’t it at saturation by definition?

Yes. Although in many cases receivers result in less subcooling than you’d have othwrwise
